This is the home page for the Taxes section of the Treasurer's Office of Douglas County, Kansas.
Real Estate tax that remains unpaid after the December 20th due date, begin to accrue interest. Payment of the first half tax plus interest can be made until May 9th of the following calendar year. On May 10th, the full amount plus interest is due.
Personal Property tax that remains unpaid after the December 20th due date becomes due in full plus interest and penalties.
