Job Description
Douglas County is accepting applications for a 3-month pool (July – September) of candidates for Juvenile Detention Corrections Officers. Candidates must be 21 years old with a valid KS driver’s license or the ability to obtain one. Required qualifications include a minimum of 3 hrs college level related coursework, high school diploma or G.E.D. and basic computer skills. Preference given to applicants with human services exp. Compliance with shift work mandatory. Job Description
Douglas County is accepting applications for a 6-month pool (March - August) of temporary full-time laborers in Public Works for the road maintenance, noxious weed spray, bridge maintenance and Lone Star Lake grounds crews to start work on/about April 7, 2008.
